Understanding Today’s Cybersecurity Threats, and the Role of Federal Law Enforcement in Combating those Threats, to Better Protect Your Business

Date: Thursday, January 20, 2022
Time: 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Location: Duquesne Club, downtown Pittsburgh
Speaker: Charles A. “Tod” Eberle IV, Assistant United States Attorney, Western District of Pennsylvania

Cybersecurity is a universal problem affecting both the public and private sectors. It is only through a coordinated public-private partnership, with robust information-sharing, that we will be able to meet the threat. It is critical that business owners understand today’s cyber threats, are taking steps to prevent attacks, and are prepared to adequately respond to attacks.  Please join us for this event as representatives from the FBI’s Pittsburgh Field Office and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania discuss: the current threat landscape; recent trends; preventative and responsive measures for businesses; the availability of FBI threat indicators to aid businesses in protecting themselves against an attack; interacting with the FBI and U.S. Attorney’s Office after an attack; and examples of efforts to combat cybercrime in the Western District of Pennsylvania.
