Presented by Mr. Joseph Ott, senior policy analyst in the Community Development Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. He is responsible for providing technical assistance and regulatory guidance to financial institutions, government entities, and community-based organizations on issues related to consumer finance and protection, the Community Reinvestment Act, and community and economic development in western Pennsylvania.

Mr. Ott’s presentation will cover the purpose, structure, and focus of the Federal Reserve System, as well as what we do through our conduct of monetary policy, banking supervision and regulation, and payment services. In addition, Mr. Ott will likely discuss the Cleveland Fed’s work in Community Development.

In addition, Mr. Guhan Venkatu Vice President and Senior Regional Officer, Pittsburgh Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland will offer an Economic Outlook.
